Northern Lights Model Boat Club

Welcome to the Northern Lights Model Boat Club. The NLMBC was established on March 9^th, 2002 in Toronto, Ontario. The group of 50 members range in ages from 8 to 80 and all share the same interest in this fun hobby. The club objective is to foster friendship, comradery and personal enjoyment while promoting the sport of radio controlled model boating. To operate a model boat at a NLMBC site a member must be a current member in good standing of both the International Model Power Boat Association and the NLMBC. We strictly adhere to the rules and regulations set out by the IMPBA and our number one priority is safety. During the nice weather we hold sanctioned races and club fun runs at our ponds. In the off season we hold monthly meetings to discuss club business. Members are from all over Southern Ontario and run Nitro, Gas, and Electric powered boats with speeds ranging from 30 mph to 120 mph. Annual NLMBC dues are $30 and IMPBA dues are $50.
